Who's On Our List at Firefly

It's been very cool to watch Firefly evolve since year #1 in 2012. It's hard to believe that this can be up to a 5 day event (if you're one of the die-hards campers). Even crazier is to think that between 7pm Wednesday night through Sunday night at midnight, the music and performances are almost nonstop until at least midnight every night (even the hardcore [i.e. younger crowd] needs some rest)! 

Between FireflyFestival.com and the Firefly App, mapping out your game plan for the festival has never been easier. This year's we're totally digging the fact that we can email each other the list of who we want to see. This sharing feature is pretty fantastic! Love that this is finally available. We tend to play Thursday night by ear and see who we are able to catch on a whim. The rest of the weekend though, that's a different story! 

As soon as the Daily Lineup was announced, Eric and I sat down to sync up who we want to see (not surprising, we're both pretty much on the same page on who we want to catch. I thank my lucky stars day in and day out that we both love this live music thing and have super similar tastes in music 85% of the time!)

Even though we were pretty inline with our plans for Firefly, I wanted to share my list with Eric and vice versa, just in case we have some overlapping set times. Check out how things came through via email when I shared everything with Eric.

A little tip and a little New Jersey connection: head to the Coffee House on Sunday at 12:30pm to check out Dawn Hiatt. I cannot tell you how excited I was to see her name on the Daily Lineup! Dawn moved to NJ when we were all in grade school and I'm going to suggest this very enthusiastically: this is a performance you don't want to miss! Her background and experience is beyond impressive; she's the only artist to win the Philadelphia Songwriters Project Songwriting Contest two times. You may have heard hear songs on the radio locally on WXPN and WSTW. Be sure to catch her set! 

I am so ready for another year of squeezing as many performances as we possibly can!
