You Can't Go Hungry at Firefly

No matter what you’re craving, the food and drink choices throughout Firefly will most definitely have your covered. From Italian, to Asian, to pizza and something for your sweet tooth, check out the rundown of what you’ll find on the ground of Firefly all festival long.

ITALIAN

Mom’s Spaghetti – “Lose Yourself” in a Chinese food take out box full of spaghetti before Eminem’s Saturday night performance. (see what I did there?!)  

Arancini Bros. – Dive into New York City’s authentic Sicilian Rice Balls known as arancini. Pick from Ragu, Bianco Verde, Pizza Ball, Chicken Parm Bite or Bucatini Fritti.


GIVE INTO THAT SWEET TOOTH

Taiyaki NYC – As I'm reading up on this vendor, I see that they will feature “Croyaki, unicorn taiyaki ice cream, and unicorn floats.” You better believe my interest is completely peaked! You have to see some of their creations for yourself.  see for yourself. They’ll have Taro/Mango/ Strawberry Slush Unicorn Floats.

King of Pops – Grab one of their handmade ‘funky ice pops from local, sustainable, mostly organic produce and ingredients.”

Do x Big Mozz – Can’t decide between salty and sweet? You can have award-winning Mozz Sticks or Fried Cookie DŌ straight from Brooklyn when you check out Do x Big Mozz. Because why not?!

Lil’ Pop Shop – Here’s another fun way to cool off in between sets. These small batch pops are sweetened with pure sugar cane with as much locally sourced ingredients as possible. Indulge in flavors like chocolate salted caramel brownie pop and strawberry rhubarb lemonade pop. (Bonus: they’re from Philly!)


DRINKS OF ALL KINDS

The Brewery – You can’t come to Firefly and not have at least one Dogfish Head Firefly Ale – it’s like a rite of passage! The Brewery is always our first (and usually our last) stop throughout each day. Plus, you’re supporting local, and there’s nothing better than that!

The Coffee House – we’ve seen some of our favorite performances at The Coffee House, which, as you can imagine, we visit often throughout the festival. Because, caffeine!

Inspired Brews Small Batch Kombucha – Brewed in Philadelphia, Inspired Brews uses unique and seasonal ingredients to created their hand crafted kombucha. With all the food and drink you’ll take part in throughout the festival, enjoying a Draft Kombucha is definitely going to be part of our days at Firefly.

The Loving Cup:  Find the shiny Airstream and you'll find fresh pastries (like Berliner Doughnuts) and coffee drinks, plus fruit smoothies, root beer floats, Paleo scramble, Fresh Toast Sandwiches and MAC AND CHEESE ON A STICK (!!!).


BURGERS

Shake Shack – Stop by this ‘modern day roadside burger stand’ for Shack Burgers, ‘Shroom Burgers and crinkle cut fries.

Bulldog Burgery – They’re keeping it simple here – burgers, cheeseburgers, fresh cut fries, cheese fries and sliced watermelon. 


ASIAN FOOD

Ekiben -  This is your spot if you're looking for an eclectic blend of Asian fusion eats that's prepared using familiar ingredients and exotic spices to create palate party. Grab a Neighborhood Bird Bun, Vietnamese Iced Coffee or Tofu Bun.

Humpty’s Dumplings -  This Philadelphia area dumpling shop specializes in savory and sweet fried dumplings creations like Cheesesteak, Apple Pie, and Buffalo Chicken Dumpling.

Lao Street Foods – Munch on unique and different foods ‘rooted in the warm flavors of the Southeast Asia,” with dishes infused with Lao and Thai flavors like Lao Fire Chicken, Pad Thai, Mao Lao Noodles, Spicy Stir Fry and Lao Sausage.

Lemon Grass East Asian Bistro

*Wok on the Wild Side - Wok on the Wild Side brings Asian-Fusion cuisine to the festival. Check out their Soba Noodle Stir-Fry (Vegan) and Soba Noodle Stir-Fry with Sweet Teriyaki Chicken. 

Yao & Me


LATIN AMERICAN

Alma – This Chicagoland food truck is bringing Latin American cuisine, like an Argentinian Steak Sandwich, Peruvian Chicken Sandwich, Mojo Tempeh Sandwich, and Arepas, to Firefly.

Cachapas on Wheels – Cachapas' specialty is traditional Venezuelan street fare that they’ve been serving New Yorkers since 2008. Pick between menu items like Cachapas, Patacon, Arepa, Yuca Fries and Passion Fruit Juice.


COMFORT FOOD/CREOLE

Ozark Mountain Biscuits Co – Have a craving for Southern food? Head over to Ozark Mountain Biscuit Co. Their scratch made foods include The Boss Hog, The Special, Cheese Burger Biscuit, Fried Chicken Biscuit and Pulled Pork Biscuit.

Charm City Chicken

*Phat Daddy Creole’s – Craving Cajun food straight from the bayou? Phat Daddy Creole's is serving up Creole Jambalaya, The Dirty Mac & Cheese, Vegan Red Beans & Rice, King Crawfish Etoufee or ‘Nawlins Chicken or Brisket Po’Boy.


MIDDLE EASTERN

Southernmost Falafel – A festival scene staple for over 25 years, Southernmost Falafel is cooking up menu items like Falafel with Hummus, Lamb or Chicken Gyros and Key West Noodles to feed hungry festival goers.


ISLAND INSPIRED

Excell Kingston Eatery – Catch an island breeze and enjoy authentic Jamaican cuisine like jerk chicken and Jamaican Beef Patty.

Island Noodles  - Good include wok-fired soba noodles with 21 fresh vegetables, ginger and garlic, and simmered in a Secret Island Sauce. You'll pick from Island Noodles, Island Noodles with Teriyaki Chicken, or Texas Roasted Corn at Island Noodles' stand. 

Key West Conch Shack – Pretend you’re sitting at the southernmost point in Key West while enjoying Fried Conch, Conch Fritters, Bang Shrimp Tacos, Mahi Tacos or Lobster Rolls.

Kokomo Joe’s Cabana –  Order up Coconut Shrimp, Seafood Tacos or vegetarian tacos (Fried Avocado Tacos!) and sliders from Kokomo Joe's Cabana. 


TACOS/MEXICAN

*^Fat Bean Taco – Looking for vegan or and gluten free friendly options? This is your place. They have options including paleo taco plate, baller nachos and a Fat Bean quesadilla.

Romega Taqueria – With a home base of Atlanta, LA and New Orleans, Romega Taqueria is all about inspired,authentic Mexican food, ‘using LA’s local street style flavor’. Check out the Street Style Tacos and Ceviche Tostada.

Tica’s Tacos – Place your order for Tica Taco's ONE POUND BURRITO (!), Loaded Nachos, Queso Fries, or Mint Mango Lemonade. <- How awesome does that sound?!

PIZZA

Grotto Pizza – Grab a slice of Delaware's iconic and award-winning pizza joint. A staple at Firefly year after year, this year's their bringing Cheese Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza, Veggie Pizza and Hawaiian Pizza. 

San Matteo Pizzeria -  Rated as one of the best Neapolitan Pizzas in New York City, San Matteo is bringing their Margherita pizza or Diavola pizza to try. 

^Pizza Nova – When you combine a love of food, live music and adventure, you get Pizza Nova. They've been feeding festival goers around the country since 2010. You can pick between a Giant Pizza Slice or Gluten Free Personal Pan Pizza at Pizza Nova. 

Spicy Pie – They’ve traveled all over the country, now Spicy Pie is bringing you gigantic slices of pie to nosh on during Firefly.


CHEESESTEAKS, FRIES, SANDWICHES AND SUCH

H&H Concessions: Wash your Philly Cheesesteak, Loaded Philly Fries, Pitas or Gyros down with a Strawberry Lemonade from H&H Concessions.

Hebros Kitchen: Two brothers from Wilmington are bringing Rosemary/Buffalo Chicken/Lamb Stuffed Pita, Baked Mac & Cheese, Falafel with homemade hummus and Tzatziki, and Fried Oreos to Firefly.

Hippie Dips - Hippie Dips is offering fresh fruit refreshment, sustainable nutrition & heady Breakfast, Lunch and late night munchies all festival long. Grab a Turkey Panini, Veggie Panini, Carnivore Panini, Pressed Caprese Sandwich or a Toasted PB&J with Grilled Bananas & Bacon.

Kobe Dogs – Try one of the all-beef Kobe Dogs topped with Crab and Avocado, Pineapple and Banana Mustard or go with the Coney Classic.

Pretzel Revolution – These stuffed pretzels are a walk-able meal on the go. Check out the Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Pretzel, Pepperoni Pizza Stuffed Pretzel, Mac & Cheese Stuffed Pretzel or Pretzel Hot Dog.

*Shady Grove Wraps – Whether you're looking for regular or vegan menu options, Shady Grove Wraps is serving Chicken Wraps, Steak Wraps, Vegan Wraps, Create Your Own Salad and Specialty Fries. They even have a dedicated grill for vegan options.

Sum Pig Food Truck:  Specializing in scratch-made cooking, Sum Pig is whipping up house made nacho creations, meat & veggie parfaits and pork, chicken or brisket sandwiches.

The Gouda Boys:  If you're looking for a twist on comfort foods, like a BBQ Sandwiches, Scarface Sandwich, William the Butcher Cutting, Mr. Pink Sandwich or the Dr. Lector Sandwich, The Gouda Boys is your stop. Plus they're rocking their homemade smoke Gouda mac and cheese. Oh, and they cover everything in thick cut bacon.

The Roaming Raven - A Delaware native food truck that will be serving up Philly cheesesteaks, breakfast sandwiches (sausage, egg & cheese), plus BBQ pulled pork and tater tots.

Tots & Tenders – Get crispy chicken tenders and tater tots ‘dressed in a bevy of toppings,’ like Carne Asada Tots, 2nd St. Tots, and Classic Tater Tots. Or go for a pairing of Chicken Tenders and Fries or Parmesan and Garlic Chicken Tenders & Fries with Basil Pesto.

Two Guys Chicken and Fries – You’ll find homemade chicken fingers and fresh cut fries here. Made from scratch daily, pick from a variety of homemade sauces to pair with your chicken fingers and fries (in a Fresh Cut Fry Cone).

Wit Whiz Philly Style Cheesesteaks – Whether it’s Philly style cheesesteaks, spring rolls, crispy cheese curds or sea salt French fries, this is your spot.

BREAKFAST

Crescent Foods – Crescent Food is serving breakfast, burgers and the #1 breakfast burrito (made with fresh ingredients including black beans, sausage, bacon, potatoes, eggs, cheese and salsa) all Firefly long. 


GOOD FOR YOUR SOUL

Bite – San Diego based Bite creates “food without compromise” that is “healthy, delicious, ethical.” They’ll have goodies like Carbonized Bamboo Citrus, Electrolytic Ginger Lemon Tea and Fresh brewed Iced Yerba Mate

John’s Juice –John’s Juice is all about serving fresh fruit ‘in its natural state.’ They’ll have fruits like pineapple, watermelon, coconut and dragon fruit and mix-ins.

*The Beet Box – You’ll find gourmet vegan comfort food made with organic ingredients sourced from local farms at The Beet Box. Try the Beet Burger, Philly Beet Steak, TBLT, Kale Salad or Raw Vegan Desserts.

*Try Vegan - Try Vegan is making sure you have all the nutrients to keep going until long after your favorite set has finished. Their menu items will be Vegan Sushi Burrito, Summer Salad, Fresh Veggie Wrap, Fruit Smoothies and Watermelon Bowls.


MEDITERRANEAN

Shawarma Point – A popular Mediterranean eatery in Austin, Shawarma Point can be found at music festival across the country filling bellies with Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Beef Shawarma Wrap, Falafel Wrap, Chicken Shawarma Plate and Falafel Salad.


Seriously, you can be as indecisive and change your mind on what you’re craving 12 different times and I have a feeling Firefly has your covered. The food and drink options are endless, and if you’re vegan or gluten free – there are plenty of options for you there too. Needless to say, none of us will go hungry throughout the weekend thanks to the great food line up Firefly has brought in this year.
